My Vote

Florida

A VR project called “Mi Familia Vota” took place in Miami, FL in 2004 aiming to prove that the Hispanic electorate was not reluctant to take an active role in American civic life. After surpassing vastly the set goals and all the expectations for this project, “Mi Familia Vota” turned into a whole new organization, Democracia Ahora, giving birth to an institution of unprecedented power to engage the Hispanic. D-Ahora is currently based in two strategic locations: in the I-4 corridor in Central Florida (Orlando) and in a high-density Hispanic population in South Florida (Miami).
