Soy Americano. Soy Latino. What's your story?

"...From then on, I realized how important it was to be a Latina; how important it was to bring that diversity to my community. Needless to say, for the next few years, I tried desperately to go back to my roots: from dyeing my hair brown to befriending loads of Latinos in the area to idolizing Rosie Perez. All jokes aside, I balanced in my early 20s and was finally okay just being the Brazilian-born, American-raised person that I am today."
